Church Square audiences were generally the smallest, except for the first and the last shows. The Golden Acre show was the biggest audience of the series. The Khayelitsha, Kalkfontein and Langa shows were the biggest in the Cape Flats

In the Cape Flats, social networks were the best audience drawer. Audience numbers suggest that our networks are strongest - and most responsive - in Kalkfontein, Langa and Khayelitsha. It was also in these areas that the free mic session were the most popular.

Mitchell's Plain draw the smallest audience, around 50 people.

Best audiences by foodcourt sales were Manenberg, launch show Church Square, June on Church Square.

Types of audiences
Church Square generally drew a creative industries CBD audience, students from nearby campuses, tourists. This was the target group for Goemarati on Church Square. We just struggled to draw them in large numbers to most of the shows. See Marketing for more on this.

The Cape Flats audiences were largely young, aged 16 to 25; Kalkfontein in particular, with audience members mostly ranging from 4 to 16 years old. 

Diversity
Church Square shows drew a rich diversity of people, reflecting the diverse nature of the inner-city. The Cape Flats shows drew non-Cape Flats residents in small amounts. Khayelitsha and Manenberg were successful in drawing a mixed audience, and Langa to a smaller degree.
