This
was the launch show, and the biggest city audience after the finale in
September.
Big
challenge was the permit - it was finally issued at 930am on the
morning of the show. At 6pm the previous evening, we had been informed
of the need to secure permission from Parliament, due to the proximity
of the event to Parliament in session.
The
free mic sessions were oversubscribed in town and Langa. The quality of these performances was high.
Great audiences for both shows, and an especially young audience in Langa. Guga s'Thebe is an excellent venue.
