Goemarati was conceived as a means of creating broad infrastructure for music and creative products of the Western Cape, through a series of live concerts and support infrastructure for marketing and sales, both locally and globally.

This presentation is a report on how we achieved this with the Pilot Series, February to September 2007. It contains a show by show breakdown, analysis of all the key components of the project, and a future perspective. It contains images, video  and audio clips.

The Goemarati pilot phase was a projected of the Cape Town Partnership, funded by the Department of Economic Develpment and Tourism, implemented and produced by Coffee Beans Routes SUMMARY. R500 000. 13 shows. 7 months. 394 people involved in total. 284 performers. 7 venues. Direct income created for more than 180 people. Global sales platform created online. Local sales platform created in Mobile vendor. Strong brand created.
