The Khoi Khonnexion is like the sorbet ice cream eaten between courses of exquisite food. The sorbet cleans the palate and cools the mind. Such is the The Khonnexion. They are the sorbet between courses of deep history and provocative future.

Sometimes they're hard to swallow. Sometimes of the words of Khoi Khonnexion poet Jethro Louw, part philosopher, part ghetto activist, are too truthful.

Sometimes, it's too beautiful. Elegiac. Sometimes so sweet it's painful.

Glen Arendse and Garth Erasmus provide the musical landscape. Garth is an acclaimed visual artist, and in the trio his brush-strokes are made with instruments from percussion to bows. Glen provides melody and harmony on guitar.

This is an atmospheric poetic excursion that touches deep on the roots of Cape Town City in a way that no other group or artist does. This is the original Khoesan wind in your hair.
