Coffee Beans has tailor-made business relationships with a small selection of Cape Town recording artists. These are 360 degree deals, covering recording and release, live, management, and merchandise.

MVRQ, fronted by Mavo Jokazi, is a 50/50 partnership between Coffee Beans Routes and Mavo Jokazi. Equal input for equal return. Shared profit after costs. 

MVRQ's debut album is Igubu. It is available in physical product from Goemarati.co.za, from music shops in Cape Town, and as download on afrodesiamp3.com and rhythmrecords.co.za. Available via WAP at mocharts.com

The copyright on the songs is owned by Mavo Jokazi,  Eric Salman and Coffee Beans Routes. Sheer Publishing administers the publishing. 

MVRQ II will be recorded in the 1st half of 2008, with release in the summer of 2008.

Jethro Louw, also known as the Ghetto Poet and Tanneman !Xam, is a diverse performer. First part poet, social commentator, second part singer in
dub blues, third part ancient hip hop aesthetic.

The deal with Jethro is 50/50 profit share after costs. Release to date has been in the form of print-on-demand live album Ray of Light. All recordings to date are live. Mac McKenzie, the composer, songwriter and guitar player. Current major project is the symphonic work, The Journey. He is still performing with his allstar Cape Town band the Goema Captains of Cape Town.

The Khoi Khollektif
A loose collective of poets and songwriters such as Jethro Louw, Loit Sols, Jitsvinger and Les Javan.

In October 2007, the Khollektif tour Taiwan as part of the Migration Music Festival.
