Another performance that is a blur in my memory… they were a bit late, messy, this one drinking, this one forgot that, they had a new bass-guitarist, they hadn’t rehearsed.

Dino’s new state-of the-art spindly frame of a guitar required batteries which ran out during sound-check, took them ages to find the necessary adaptors, leads etc.

Sounded like a Latino improvisational mixed smoothie that dropped on the floor and spilled everywhere.

Pity. Dino is one of the city's emerging stars. Originally from Maputo, and in Cape Town for some five years, Dino is a prodigy of Maputo's composer lauriate Chico Antonio.
