He played solo in January, appeared with Robbie Jansen's trio in February and now came together with his own trio, featuring Dave Ridgeway on acoustic bass.

Now the thing with Kyle is that he's shithot. He's got a terrific future. He's got great songs. And the man is young, he's just breaching 20. So the world is ahead of him.

And for all this he couldn't get the brief right. So he played mainly covers. Jazz covers. Technically lovely, and played with obviously pleasure. But just covers.
