Hilton appeared three times during Oppiestoep II: solo, with Alex van Heerden as part of RockArt, and as a trio with his Paradigm Shift outfit. Paradigm is a vehicle for Hilton's more groove and electronic jazz explorations, and for this performance, the band featured its core members: Hilton on keys, Alex van Heerden on trumpet and accordion, and Hilton's cousin on acoustic bass.

The music moved from Cairo influenced grooves, to dub jazz to straight ahead bebop. This was a kind of precursor to their performance at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival on 30 March 2007.
