Local songbird Emily, together with Buddy Wells on Sax and Wayne Bosch on guitar, performed songs from her first album. Cape jazzy, laidback and lovely, inspired by the world around her. Lyrics dealing with loss, with love, with identity, with joy. Honest and simple words made poetic by her beautiful voice. And her fellow musos rocked.
