Habib is Gavin Bonner on percussion, Timon Wapenaar on violin and Reza Khota on guitars. The group came together late in 2006, and this was actually their first public performance. They had previously played corporate shows.

Gavin and Reza both featured again in the series. Gavin returned with Israeli drone player Yotam Sandak, and Reza returned twice, once with percussionist Ronan Skillen and once again solo. This was another example of the strong Eastern European / Middle Eastern flavour that permeated the series.

The trio played all original compositions. This was one of the highlight performances of the series.
