A fitting performance for one of the last nights of the season.

Lu and Brendan performed only original songs. She was wearing a turquoise dress that matched the sky, with heels almost as high, and he was dressed so as not to upstage her, comfy in jeans and checkered shirt with a bowling hat. Stickers all over his guitar, he reminded me of those pictures of a lone traveller sitting on the side of a dusty and deserted road on his battered suitcase, guitar slung over a shoulder.

They played so well together, knew their songs well. Lu gave constant goose-bumps to everybody watching, entranced…“Girl, you got that elusive X-Factor!"
