At Oppiestoep I, they performed with a drummer, but for this gig, the idea was to tone down the sound and have Scott Southgate on bass, Mark Goliath on keys and Gershon on guitar and vocals. And to bring their own sound guy. They prepared for weeks. I heard them at the Cape Town festival prior to the Spier gig, and they sounded so good!

But on the day, they rocked up sans their sound guy and Mark, with a guitarist called Matthew. And things were just not the same. They were late, and grumpy. We struggled with sound levels. I did not have a good time.
